12 Days of Glory- Day 4

“stop struggling to get to places, He can get you there. all you have to do is ask Him to open the door”

Pst. Sheryl Brady

God is a speaking God. He is the ultimate Communicator! God talked until everything around Him began to change. The more God talked, the more every chaos came to order. He talked until things without form took on form. If God is your Father and you carry His DNA, you need to speak too.

When God speaks, diseases die. When He speaks, cancer disappears. God was God long before you came to the earth and He will remain God even long after you leave this earth. He is God from everlasting to everlasting. You cannot describe or define Him because He is beyond description and definition.

You need to create time to thank God for all that He is because the moment you thank Him for one thing, that’s when you’d realize that He has done so much more than you’re really thanking Him for. You can never really thank God enough. God spoke everything in the world into existence, but man was the only thing He touched when He created. He created man as a spirit and breathed into him the breath of life. This is the reason we always have the innate longing for the touch of God.

{Exodus 3:14, Genesis 1:26}
you need to learn to talk to yourself because if you don’t talk to yourself, the devil will talk to you.

When God made you, He put a lot of potential inside of you. You don’t have to suck up to people to give you what God has already placed on your inside. If you bless God, He will bless you.

Pastor Sheryl said there are four things God does in our lives:

  1. Just like an eagle shields her eaglets, God shields His children. Psalm 91:2
    God takes you through seasons where He shields you. He holds you together when the world is trying to pull you apart.
  2. An eagle unsettles or stirs up her nests in order to make her eaglets uncomfortable. This process helps propel them to their next level.
    Sometimes, God creates an unsettling situation around you in order for you to grow. Always know that there’s a purpose behind every challenge.
  3. The mother eagle shoves her eaglets out of her nests. The mother has a strong affection for her eaglets and she shows that by feeding and taking care of them, but she also does that by taking them out of their comfort zone so they can learn to fly and cater for themselves eventually.
  4. An eagle gives her eaglets a landing spot. In every trying circumstance, God always gives His children a soft landing.

This got me thinking, if God has given the Eagle so much potential to ride on the storm, train its children to fly like that. Believe me eagles have crazy standards, they build their nest on the highest peak available, they do not eat dead things and they absolutely don’t settle for less preys.

Be like the eagle and take up your prey off their battle ground and take them onto Gods battle ground

Isaiah40:31 {AMP}
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]
Will gain new strength and renew their power;
They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];
They will run and not become weary,
They will walk and not grow tired.
