12 Days of Glory- Day 7

“You don’t sin because you still have the old man in you, you sin because you still have the old program on your inside. Be careful not to allow your life to be led by your carnal senses”

-Dr. Creflo Dollar

At Calvary, there were three steps to the work of Christ: death, burial, and resurrection (I Corinthians 15:1-4). It is very easy to see that these three steps make up the act of being born again spoken of by Jesus (John 3:1-5); to die, to be buried, and to rise again—that is to be born again. So we see that Jesus, through His death, burial, and resurrection, bought for us the plan of being born again spoken of in John 3:3, whereby we receive salvation.

The fact that Jesus purchased a plan of salvation for us is the greatest news the world has ever received. It is absolutely essential for us to act upon what He did.

Jesus told Nicodemus, “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

Dr. Creflo preached

{John 8:31-32, 2 Corinthians 7:1-2}

If you can’t change what you believe, you cannot change your life. Wrong belief puts people in bondage. Believing rightly is like a light that lights up your path to freedom out of bondage.

John 1:17
Grace is the truth that sets men free and grace came by Jesus Christ. Grace is the truth that has the power to set you free from all wrongful addictions. God’s grace is the antidote to every poison in your mind. A lot of people focus on living right sometimes but do not pay enough attention to believing right. Having the wrong belief can cause a negative impact in your destiny. If you have a wrong belief, you will live wrong and end up in the wrong destination.

Where did you get your belief system from? If you ever want to see your life change, you have to be able to change what you believe.

{Acts 8:1-2}

Once you become born again, your past disappears. A new born baby has no past. Disassociate yourself from your past!

Man is a spirit that possesses a soul and lives in a body. You don’t have a spirit, you are a spirit. You are not your body but you possess a soul that lives in a physical body.

When you became born again, the part of you that was impacted was your spirit man. The day you got born again, your old man (old nature) died and your new man became one with God. Your old man is gone and your new man was sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. This means that the bad can’t get inside of you and the good can’t get out.

You are just like God. You are righteous, flawless and perfect. You are as righteous, holy and perfect as you are ever going to be, sealed with God and one with Him. You can’t keep looking at yourself from a different perspective when God is trying to make you pay attention to who you really are.

{Colossians 1:27}
Your born again spirit is perfect. The real you (your spirit man) has been made perfect. As a born again Christian, you are righteous, perfect, sanctified and holy. You cannot become any more righteous, perfect, sanctified or holy than you already are right now.

{1 John 3:9}
Your born again man cannot sin because he is born of God and sealed with the Holy Ghost of promise. When you sin, it’s because you have company on your inside that does not agree with your new man.

{Hebrews 9:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17}
You have been eternally redeemed. Your new self-created in God’s image now only desires to do the will of God. This is as a result of the realization of who you really are.

You don’t sin because you still have the old man in you, you sin because you still have the old program on your inside. You need to download the “new nature program” by renewing your mind with God’s word in order for you to function in the right way and bear new fruits. If you don’t renew your mind with the word of God, you will keep producing the same kind of fruits because your unrenewed mind keeps you on a spot.

{Romans 8:1-5}
The flesh is a mind-set that goes against the word of God. It’s a mind-set that disagrees with God’s word. Your new spirit has a mind-set that lines up with God’s word. If you fail to renew your mind, then your life will remain unrenewed.

Be careful not to allow your life to be led by your carnal senses. To be carnally minded means allowing your mind to be trained by your natural senses. Do not live by your senses but by what God’s word says.
